New Hope Fellowship

Assembly of God in Star Valley, WY

Our Mission Statement:

We are a family giving people hope of love, grace, and healing.

"No one whose hope is in you will ever be put to shame." Psalm 25:3

People need hope of love.  They need to know the minute they walk into our church, they are accepted and valued.  Love is more than just words-it is action.  We will take the time to build friendships based on support and trust.  We are committed to love all-no matter their background or baggage.

People need grace.  Star Valley is a place where religion abounds.  Our religious world is filled with legalism, judgmentalism, and hypocrisy.  Only a vibrant relationship with Jesus sets us free from the tyranny of fear, doubt, and man-made rules and regulations.

People need healing.  Star Valley also is a place where many people are hurting physically, spiritually, and emotionally.  Jesus came to bring freedom from the bondage of alcoholism, drugs, sexual sin, and other addictions that enslave people.  We give opportunities for people to experience grace and healing through the power of the Holy Spirit.  Each Sunday we pray for God to meet the needs of those present and lives are being transformed!

What is our Strategy Plan?

Let us LOVE LIKE JESUS-Evangelism-We share the good news of the gospel through our lives, services, and special events.  Let us LOVE PEOPLE AND help them find a God who loves them in their loneliness, hurt, and sin (Isa. 61:1-3).

Let us LIVE LIKE JESUS-Discipleship-We teach principles of the Bible and see people mature in their faith.  Let us help others grow in the knowledge of God and apply His plan to their lives (2 Pet. 3:18).

Let us SERVE LIKE JESUS-Ministry-We get everyone involved using their gifts and talents for the Lord inside and outside of this body of believers.  Let us help others find their purpose to love and serve (Eph. 2:10).

Let us BE A FRIEND LIKE JESUS-Fellowship-We make time and effort to build relationships in His family.  Let us encourage one another to come together often sharing, caring, and meeting needs (Acts 2:42-47).
